I set up my new trail cam on the deck the other day to test it. I ended up with some cute videos of Chester playing in the snow.
Behind the Scenes
We got to see the sun this morning but the clouds have returned
That was unexpected.... I guess fixing the barn coop door has moved up on our to do list.
I was a little skeptical we would see any snow today when all we saw by 11:30 were some interesting clouds. It's now been snowing since noon and it's so beautiful. The sheep are standing out in the fields instead of hunkering down in their shelters.... it's what they do.
Our resident Pileated Woodpeckers visited the maple tree in the backyard this morning. The chickens had to wait a few minutes while I watched these beautiful birds. One actually flew across the yard to one of the trees by the barn - right next to me. It looked at me and I looked at it, and it flew to another tree further from me.
In her hand she holds the distaff and grasps the spindle with her fingers. Proverbs 31:19 (NIV)
