Carson Went to His New Home

Ram lamb, Carson, went to his new home in Needmore, PA, last night. We hope he does well there and gives Oz Farm lots of beautiful red-headed babies! Carson was named by the Nice Family in our 2009 Lamb Naming Contest.

The lambs all got their 1st vaccines today. The ewe lambs also got their scrapie tags. About a month till weaning and a lot of them will be going to new homes. We still have Opal's 2 cross ewe lambs available.

Bringing multiflora rose, bramble and autumn olive branches to the sheep. It's been so dry that we're thinking outside the box to supplement their grazing.

Captain Sweatpants posed so nicely for me this morning.

These sweet sisters are still looking for a new farm to call home after weaning in July. Their fiber is bouncy and soft and they'd be a great addition to a fiber flock. Dm if interested.
